01 / THE EXHIBITIONVENICE — MIAMI
A melody returns. Another voice enters. The field stays open.
A coda gathers what has already sounded — and lets us hear it differently.
In MINORIA | CODA, light, face, fracture and material trace return as recurring motifs. Józef Krzysztof Oraczewski’s paintings and works with glass enter into counterpoint with Monika Turczyńska’s M-X/00 / Protocol of Unknowing.
Each work retains its own voice, scale and tempo. A melody extends across the panoramic painting; light is sustained, then heard in two voices; the face returns through variations. The viewer’s movement brings these presences into relation.
CODA gathers the motifs of MINORIA into a renewed composition. What returns has been changed by the encounter. The final cadence leaves the field open.

MELODY / RHYTHM / COUNTERPOINT
A melody held in colour.
Figures, gestures and intervals sustain a broad rhythm across four metres. Distinct presences sound together, each retaining its own intensity.
“The painting does not illustrate music; it behaves like music.”

PAUSE / INTERVAL / OPEN CADENCE
M-X/00 Protocol of Unknowing
In music, a rest gives the surrounding notes their duration and relation. In CODA, M-X/00 creates a pause for looking: attention moves between an image, its material and the space around it.
Oraczewski’s works and Turczyńska’s score meet in this interval. Their counterpoint unfolds through the viewer’s own pace, without settling into a final interpretation.

Image and interval.
I.
Józef Krzysztof Oraczewski
PAINTING · MIXED MEDIA · INSTALLATION
Oraczewski brings figure, symbolic form and material structure into sustained dialogue. His practice moves between the intimacy of an individual image and the scale of a monumental composition.
His monographic exhibition Collisions at the National Museum in Kielce (2023–2024) brought together paintings and installations from different periods of his practice.
II.
Monika Turczyńska
POETRY · CONCEPTUAL ART · CURATORIAL PRACTICE
Working between Warsaw and Venice, Turczyńska explores the relationships between matter, memory and perception. She is the author of MINORIA and M-X/00 / Protocol of Unknowing.
Within CODA, her conceptual score creates an interval in which the works, their surroundings and the viewer’s attention come into relation.
MINORIA / THE FIELD / VENICE — MIAMI
In a minor key. An open field.
MINORIA is an ongoing artistic and curatorial field concerned with the moment in which presence begins to take form without becoming fixed.
Developed by Monika Turczyńska in Venice in 2026, it takes its name from a dialogue with In Minor Keys, the title of the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia. MINORIA develops an independent artistic and philosophical proposition within that cultural context.
A face, a trace, a breath or a fracture can become perceptible without exhausting what remains possible. Each exhibition is a temporary configuration of this field.
At A Space Gallery, The Shape of Breath, presented in the official programme of The Venice Glass Week 2026, gathered glass, breath, memory and suspension. In Miami, these motifs return through melody, two voices, variation and counterpoint.
Form is real, but never total.
CODA gives the returning voices a new relation. The resonance continues beyond the last work.
